Michael Litzau
Master of Fine Arts, Printmaking

I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I moved to Columbus to attend the Columbus College of Art and Design and graduated there with a BFA. I then went to The Ohio State University and obtained my Master of Fine Arts degree with a printmaking focus.

I am currently teaching art classes at both Ohio State and CCAD in the foundations program. I am also an active working artist in having shown recently at many local galleries and several shows nationwide.

My personal artwork has constantly evolved over the years. I've made many relief and intaglio prints focusing on animal imagery, historical figures, to non-representation. I like to work very traditionally and produce refined quality images buy also utilize non-traditional sources such as xeroxes and die-cuts.
